Hi, I’m Laurence Belcher and I’ve lived and worked in the stunningly beautiful area of Glenorchy and Paradise at the head of Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu for several years. People often ask me if they can purchase my photographic images.
Well now you can.
If you would like to give your interior design a lift with a limited edition fine art photographic print from my extensive catalogue of some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery, then let me know.
Images are printed onto a high standard on heavy grade canvas or Fine Art quality photographic paper to a size that suits your requirements.
Glenorchy locals.
I was commissioned to tell the story of Glenorchy life.
A shepherd’s faithful working dogs at the high country station Temple Peak and the old barn at Rosie's cottage. Both images are presently hanging in Camp Glenorchy and both are available for purchase.
Fishermen's Huts at the Falls Dam.
The Maniototo region in New Zealand's South Island.
One of my recent works. This high grade canvas print is 1200mm wide and 700mm deep. The happy client even sent me a photograph showing where they had placed the image.
New Zealand's native birds.
Display your images in a variety of ways.
We'll provide the prints allowing you to decide how you would like to present them.
This group of images commissioned by Camp Glenorchy has three of our local native birds in one frame.
High up in the Richardson Range.

Tasman Glacier lake
The water from the lake runs down the Tasman River to Lake Pukaki.
My client is very happy with this image of all the glacial waters around Mt.Cook and Lake Pukaki with their stunning glacial colouring. A must see if you are in the MacKenzie Country in New Zealand's South Island.

Fisherman's Hut at the Falls Dam
Ref# Fall Dam Fisherman's Huts at dusk March 2022-45-HDR
There are sevarl locations around New Zealand that I would class as my favourites to photograph. One is the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo.
Farm at dusk on the Home Hills Run
Ref# Farm at dusk on the Home Hills Run Hawkdun Range-72
I have often visited the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo as I love photographing the area. Recently I concentrated on getting the evening light, this image of a farm at dusk shows off the lighting well.
Autumn at the head of the lake

Looking accross Glenorchy's wharf towards Mt. Earnslaw with all the autumn colours and the iconic Red Shed.
Purakaunui Bay in The Catlins, New Zealand
Ref# Purakaunui Bay Nov 2021-21
We recently spent a great few days staying at Purakaunui Bay in one of New Zealand's regional parks, The Catlins. The weather was cold and stormy, but all wrapped up we still had lot's of walks in the wilderness.
The Falls Dam fishermen's huts.
Ref# Old Sheds on the Hawkdun Range-33
Locals use their simple accommodation when fishing the Falls Dam for Salmon and Trout. The Hawdun Range is in the South Island region of Maniototo.

A calm winter's day at the head of the lake in Glenorchy's with the wharf standing proud against the Humboldt Range as a backdrop.
Old house at Hills Creek
Ref# Old house at Hills Creek, Hawkdun Range March 2022-34-HDR
The Autumn light always brings out the colours in the Maniototo and this image, with the Hawkdun Range show them off well. You pass this building when you travel the 'Pigroot' between Alexandra and Ranfurly.
Cows on the Home Hills Run
Ref# Cows on the Home Hills Run March 2022-1.
Whenever I'm out and about, perhaps with a tripod and camera in the middle of the road, stock seems to wants to know what I'm doing. I think these cows in the Maniototo thought I was going to feed them.
Hill's Creek Road
Ref# Old House at Hills Creek March 2022-13-Pano
The leading lines of Hill's Creek Road lead the eye into this image of the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo. I'm told that the old building used to be one of the many local pubs back in the gold digging days.

The Blue Lakes at St.Bathans
Ref# Blue Lakes at St.Bathans in the mist March 2022-35-HDR
We were fortunate as the morning we stayed at St.Bathans there was a mist hanging over the lake. It made for some interesting photographs.
Mustering at Mt. Earnslaw
Ref# Temple Peak Sheep Mustering-132
Taking a short break from mustering, the shepherd and his trusty friend take in the scenery around Mt. Earnslaw.
No. 8 Wire

Storm over the Hawkduns
Ref# Hawkdun Range-354
I love the moods in the Maniototo Region of New Zealand's South Island. The clouds were building, rain was definitely on its way.
The Muster

I always love taking closeup images of people, this is a good friend and neighbour of ours who farms up the Rees Valley.
Autumn at Precipice Creek
Ref# Autumn colours around the lake-59
The autumn colours stand out down Precipice Lane, just down the hill from where I live. I often take a morning walk down that way.
Old barn at Rosie's Cottage
Ref# Rosie's Cottage-8
Always satisfying to take photos of the history around Glenorchy. Sadly Rosie's old barn is no longer there.
Glenorchy's sunken trees
Ref# Glenorchy panoramas-4-Pano
A multi image panorama of the sunken trees on the edge of Lake Wakatipu would be great for a large size canvas.
Tarn at Paradise
Ref# Tarn at Paradise-10-Pano
One of the tarns at Paradise on a calm day. It's actually 5 images joined together and would enlarge really well for a wall hanging on canvas.
Blue Lakes at St.Bathans

Some great reflections in this multi image panorama of the Blue Lakes at St. Bathans.
The old jetty at Little Paradise

The TSS Earslaw used to make a daily round trip up to Glenorchy and then over to the Kinloch Wharf.

I always tell my photo tour clients that you don't necessarily require a calm clear and sunny day in order to capture interesting images of the landscapes you see before you. This is proof of my theory.
