    • New Zealand's breathtaking scenery captured on canvas or textured Fine Art photographic paper.

Hi, I’m Laurence Belcher and I’ve lived and worked in the stunningly beautiful area of Glenorchy and Paradise at the head of Queenstown’s Lake Wakatipu for several years. People often ask me if they can purchase my photographic images.

      Well now you can.

If you would like to give your interior design a lift with a limited edition fine art photographic print from my extensive catalogue of some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery, then let me know.

Images are printed onto high grade canvas or Fine Art quality photographic paper to a size that suits your requirements.

      Glenorchy locals.

I was commissioned to tell the story of Glenorchy life.

A shepherd’s faithful working dogs at the high country station Temple Peak and the old barn at Rosie's cottage. Both images are presently hanging in Camp Glenorchy and both are available for purchase.

Fishermen's Huts at the Falls Dam.

The Maniototo region in New Zealand's South Island.

One of my recent works. This high grade canvas print is 1200mm wide and 700mm deep. The happy client even sent me a photograph showing where they had placed the image.

      New Zealand's native birds.

Display your images in a variety of ways.

We'll provide the prints allowing you to decide how you would like to present them.

This group of images commissioned by Camp Glenorchy has three of our local native birds in one frame.

High up in the Richardson Range.

      Sheep mustering.

Another commissioned work for Camp Glenorchy showing the shepherd and her dogs with Mt. Earnslaw as a magnificent backdrop.

      Taking the long way home

Returning home after dropping the cattle off in the Rees Valley.

Display your photographs individually or is a complimentary pair. These images are of our good friends at High Country Horses.

      Hawkdun Range.

The Maniototo region in New Zealand's South Island.

Your chosen image will be printed onto either High Grade Canvas or on Art Quality Photographic paper delivered directly to your doorstep.

      Tasman Glacier lake

The water from the lake runs down the Tasman River to Lake Pukaki.

My client is very happy with this image of all the glacial waters around Mt.Cook and Lake Pukaki with their stunning glacial colouring. A must see if you are in the MacKenzie Country in New Zealand's South Island.

Ref# Fall Dam Fisherman's Huts at dusk March 2022-45-HDR

There are sevarl locations around New Zealand that I would class as my favourites to photograph.  One is the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo.

Farm at dusk on the Home Hills Run

Ref# Farm at dusk on the Home Hills Run Hawkdun Range-72

I have often visited the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo as I love photographing the area.  Recently I concentrated on getting the evening light and this image of a farm at dusk show off the lighting well.

Purakaunui Bay in The Catlins, New Zealand

      Ref# Purakaunui Bay Nov 2021-21

We recently spent a great few days staying at Purakaunui Bay in New Zealand's rregional park The Catlins. Wrapped up warm as the weather was cold and stormy, but we had lot's of walks away from the crowds. Bliss!

      The Falls Dam fishermen's huts.

Ref# Old Sheds on the Hawkdun Range-33

Locals use their simple accommodation when fishing the Falls Dam for Salmon and Trout. The Hawdun Range is in the South Island region of Maniototo.

Cows on the Home Hills Run

Ref# Cows on the Home Hills Run March 2022-1.

Whenever I'm out and about, perhaps with a tripod and camera in the middle of the road, stock wants to know what I'm doing.  I  think these caows in the Maniototo thought I was going to feed them.

      Hill's Creek Road

Ref# Old House at Hills Creek March 2022-13-Pano

The leading lines of Hill's Creek Road lead the eye into this image of the Hawkdun Range in the Maniototo.  I'm told that the old building usde be the local pub in the gold digging days.

The cool calm days we get at the head of the lake provide us with some spectacular scenery. This image is at the Head of Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu near Glenorchy.

I always tell my photo tour clients that you don't necessarily require a calm clear and sunny day in order to capture interesting images of the landscapes you see before you. This is proof of my theory.
